Rayz Developments Teams Up with e& Egypt to Launch BRX Mixed-Use Project in New Cairo

Rayz Developments, the real estate arm of Al Shams Contracting and Engineering Works, has announced the launch of its first mixed-use project, BRX, in the Egyptian market. Located strategically on the Mohamed Naguib Axis in New Cairo, this move marks the official start of the company's activities in the real estate development sector, leveraging Al Shams' extensive engineering and construction expertise.

The BRX project spans a total area of 36,483 square meters, situated directly on the Mohamed Naguib Axis with a frontage extending approximately 390 meters. This prime location gives it a strong presence and easy accessibility, boosting its potential as a promising destination for commercial and administrative activities in New Cairo.

The project features 9 buildings offering dedicated spaces for commercial and administrative activities, along with a garage that can accommodate around 800 cars. This setup supports its ability to serve companies, entrepreneurs, and investors looking for a flexible business environment that fosters growth and expansion.

The project launch event also saw the signing of a cooperation agreement between Rayz Developments and e& Egypt. This partnership aims to provide a comprehensive package of Triple Play services within the BRX project, including high-speed internet, landline telephony, and IPTV (Internet Protocol Television). Additionally, an advanced fiber optic network will be installed to ensure ultra-fast connectivity and higher performance stability. Eng. Dalia Salah, Head of Business Development for Gated Communities at e& business, attended the signing.

This collaboration is designed to bolster the project's technological infrastructure and enhance its operational efficiency by delivering smart communication solutions that meet the needs of commercial and administrative activities. Ultimately, this will improve the work environment and elevate the level of services offered to users within the project.

BRX is the inaugural project for Rayz Developments, a company established in 2025 as an extension of Al Shams Contracting and Engineering Works' expertise in the real estate sector. This step aims to transfer the accumulated experience in execution and contracting into broader horizons of integrated real estate development.

Since its establishment in 1987 by Eng. Shams El Din Youssef and Eng. Abdel Samie Abdel Kader, Al Shams Company has built a strong track record in executing diverse projects across education, medical, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, residential, and resort sectors. Eng. Shams El Din Youssef is considered a prominent figure in the contracting and engineering sector in Egypt and the region, boasting over four decades of professional experience. Eng. Abdel Samie Abdel Kader is another key pillar in Al Shams Company's professional journey, drawing on an extensive engineering background and executive experience since graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Alexandria University in 1981, before dedicating himself to establishing the company in 1987.

For his part, Mohamed Mokbel, Chief Commercial Officer at Rayz Developments, said that the BRX project reflects the company's direction towards developing modern business destinations capable of meeting market needs, whether for small and medium-sized enterprises or for investors and entrepreneurs.
