Ahmed Shaaban's Inspiring Journey: Building Simplex CNC from a Small Workshop to a Global Manufacturing Leader

Engineer Ahmed Shaaban, the founder of Simplex CNC for digital control machines, is truly one of Egypt's leading industrial pioneers in heavy technology. From the very beginning, he chose to dive deep into the manufacturing world, starting with a small workshop that was less than 50 square meters. Fast forward, and this project has blossomed into a global industrial powerhouse, impacting over 30 countries worldwide. Shaaban successfully built a unique industrial experience that has allowed Egyptian products to directly compete with their Chinese, European, and American counterparts in terms of quality, efficiency, and price. This success is rooted in an Egyptian engineering mindset and a vision to develop a local industry capable of expanding globally. Before founding his company, Engineer Ahmed Shaaban gained diverse professional experiences that shaped his path. He worked as a technical support engineer at "01 Electronics" between 2012 and 2013, and also served as a marketing manager at "Scope of Design" during the same period. Additionally, he was a planning engineer at "Abu El Fotouh Group" from 2011 to 2012. This gave him a well-rounded background in engineering, management, and marketing. Academically, Shaaban earned a Mini MBA in Business Administration in 2012 from "WBS Academy," alongside his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2011 from Minia University. This really strengthened his scientific foundation in both management and engineering. Engineer Ahmed Shaaban is widely regarded as a prominent example in the development of modern Egyptian industry. He managed to transform Simplex CNC from a budding workshop into a global industrial brand, exporting its products to European markets and demonstrating clear competitiveness against major international companies. Under his leadership, Simplex CNC has undergone a strategic transformation in the heavy manufacturing sector. The company has successfully built a strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa, supported by an operational network that includes over 4,500 machines. Throughout this journey, the company has focused on developing its capabilities in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), electrical works, and industrial process automation. The goal has always been to deliver advanced engineering solutions that showcase a high level of efficiency and innovation. The growth strategy also relied on combining technical development with marketing expansion. This has significantly boosted the company's market position and supported its ability to achieve sustainable growth, solidifying its presence in the heavy industries sector both regionally and internationally.
