Telecom Egypt (WE), the first integrated telecommunications and information technology operator in Egypt, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Times Real Estate Development. This partnership aims to provide comprehensive communication solutions and smart city services across all of Times' real estate projects. This move is a key part of Telecom Egypt's strategy to boost the availability of advanced communication services and digital infrastructure within modern urban communities. It perfectly aligns with the rapid advancements in communication technologies and supports the state's drive towards digital transformation. The MoU was signed by Adham Qurein, Head of Closed Communities and Key Accounts Sales Sector at Telecom Egypt, and Ahmed Farid Al-Sarjani, CEO of Times Real Estate Development. Under this agreement, Telecom Egypt will be responsible for implementing the complete technological infrastructure for Times' projects. This includes extending Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks to deliver super-fast internet and voice services to all residential, administrative, and commercial units, along with supporting smart city applications within these developments. Adham Qurein emphasized that this partnership reflects Telecom Egypt's commitment to supporting the real estate sector with the latest communication and technology solutions. He highlighted that Telecom Egypt's robust infrastructure and technical expertise enable it to provide advanced services that meet the needs of modern projects, enhancing the user experience in terms of speed and efficiency. Ahmed Farid Al-Sarjani, for his part, explained that collaborating with Telecom Egypt is a strategic step towards building smart urban communities. These communities will rely on advanced digital infrastructure that meets global standards, contributing to a more comfortable and efficient experience for customers, and supporting the state's digital transformation goals. He added that Times Real Estate aims to develop integrated, modern projects, with technology as a fundamental element in improving the quality of life within these communities. This will be achieved by providing innovative solutions and advanced communication services based on the latest smart city concepts.
