Flat6Labs has announced that applications are now open for the fifth cycle of its Green Growth and Job Creation Accelerator Program (GGJAP) in Egypt. This program aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially those led by young people, helping them transition to sustainable business models and boost their ability to create new job opportunities. The program offers a comprehensive support package, including one-on-one mentorship from specialized experts, training workshops, group sessions, and access to the Green Growth community for sharing experiences and networking with other entrepreneurs. It also helps facilitate access to funding and investment opportunities. This program is launched as part of the Danish-Arab Partnership Program (DAPP), an initiative by Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and is implemented through the United Nations Development Programme, in partnership with Flat6Labs and New Silk Roads. This move reflects a growing trend towards supporting the green economy and enhancing sustainability in Egypt. The program targets existing companies eager to adopt sustainable practices, contributing to the shift towards a green economy, creating new jobs, and achieving a tangible developmental impact in the Egyptian market.
