Smart Pyramids Joins SCSP Program to Accelerate Climate Tech and IoT Solutions

In a move that highlights the growing presence of Egyptian startups in climate technology, Smart Pyramids has joined the SCSP program. This opens up exciting opportunities for them to collaborate with major companies and speed up the development of their smart solutions. It was announced that the Egyptian company Smart Pyramids, which specializes in smart infrastructure and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, was selected to join the Strategic Corporate-Startup Partnerships (SCSP) program. This program is one of the most prominent initiatives supporting startups working in climate technology. Smart Pyramids was chosen from a large pool of applicants as one of 18 startups focusing on climate solutions. The 9-month program aims to boost collaboration between startups and large corporations, accelerating the adoption of sustainable technologies across the region. Smart Pyramids' inclusion in the program reflects its strong position in developing smart home solutions, smart agriculture, and designing IoT devices. These efforts contribute to building more energy-efficient and sustainable systems. The program will allow Smart Pyramids to carry out pilot projects with major regional and international companies. They will also receive research and development funding of up to 250,000 EGP, along with personalized mentorship and direct access to venture capital funds and angel investors. Mahmoud El-Sherif, founder of Smart Pyramids, shared, "Our selection for the SCSP program confirms our vision to use IoT and smart automation to build a more sustainable future. We're really looking forward to working with market partners to expand the impact of our solutions." Smart Pyramids joins a group of other startups participating in the current cohort, including NoorNation, Egrobots, Plstka, Bekya Pay, and Agrona. The SCSP program is implemented by Germany's adelphi and Egypt's Changelabs, in partnership with GIZ Egypt. This is on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), through the Private Sector Innovation (PSI) project, and in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Industry.
