Raya Smart Buildings to Run Key Government Building C5 in Egypt's New Capital

The Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has signed a contract with Raya Smart Buildings, a subsidiary of Raya Holding, to manage, operate, and utilize the C5 administrative building. This building is located on the central axis within the Government District of the New Administrative Capital. This move aims to maximize returns from real estate assets by bringing in specialized expertise in smart operations. The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of ACUD, and Ahmed Ibrahim, CEO of Raya Smart Buildings. Under the contract, Raya Smart Buildings will serve as the exclusive agent for managing and operating the building. This includes leasing administrative units and overseeing services and facilities, all according to professional operating standards designed to boost performance efficiency and improve service quality within the Government District. The agreement also states that Raya Smart Buildings will receive a percentage of the total revenues generated from the building's operation, with ACUD receiving the remaining share. This model reflects a growing trend towards partnering with the private sector to balance operational efficiency with maximizing investment returns.
