NoorNation, a company specializing in solar energy solutions and agricultural technology, announced a new contract with EDEN Investment and Agricultural Development. This agreement involves manufacturing, supplying, and installing five new LifeBox™ and NoorBox units, providing a total of 1.2 megawatts of solar power. This is all part of a sustainable agricultural project located in Egypt's West Minya desert. The project aims to run irrigation pumps and pivot irrigation systems using a direct irrigation method that relies entirely on solar energy. This means there's no need to connect to the main electricity grid, as it operates through a completely independent (off-grid) system. With this new phase, the total number of LifeBox units implemented within the EDEN project now reaches 14, with an overall capacity of 3.3 megawatts. That's about 3300 kilowatts and more than 5,000 solar panels!
