With this in mind, the Real Estate Tax Authority has launched a new electronic application, available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. This app lets you file your tax declarations and pay your dues without needing to visit tax offices or wait in long lines. The app is a game-changer for citizens both inside and outside Egypt, offering convenient electronic filing and payment services. It's all part of an effort to simplify procedures, speed up tax transactions, and generally improve the services offered to taxpayers. Using the app comes with some sweet perks! You can get a 25% discount on residential units and a 10% discount on non-residential units. Plus, there's an extra discount of up to 5% if you pay in advance. The system also gives citizens a chance to waive late payment fees when settling previous debts, which is a great incentive to clear outstanding amounts and take advantage of these benefits.
