Sharif's professional journey began way back in 2000 with several prominent government roles. He was a key member of the founding team for the Executive Office of the Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Later, he transitioned to the Department of Finance for the Government of Abu Dhabi, where he served as the Director General of Financial and Strategic Affairs, playing a crucial role in shaping financial and strategic policies for the nation's vital sectors. In 2012, Sharif took on the role of Deputy CEO at Yahsat, and by 2013, he was appointed as the company's CEO. During his leadership, he oversaw the development of advanced satellite communication services and significantly boosted the company's presence in the regional market.
