Get Solar and Solar N Plus Partner to Bring Advanced Solar Manufacturing to Egypt

Egypt's Get Solar, a company specializing in manufacturing and installing solar panels, has just announced a strategic partnership with China's Solar N Plus. This exciting agreement was signed in Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, and its main goal is to localize the technology for making solar cells and panels right here in Egypt. This move is part of Get Solar's preparations to open its brand-new factory in New October City. The agreement is all about transferring and localizing solar cell and panel manufacturing technology. This will really help develop Egypt's local industry and strengthen its position as a regional hub for producing and exporting solar energy products to markets across the Middle East and North Africa. Eng. Hazem El-Shabrawy, Founder and CEO of Get Solar, and Ashley Wang, Vice President of Solar N Plus, signed the agreement. This partnership is set to bring the latest global technologies in solar cell and panel manufacturing to the Egyptian market, fostering stronger industrial cooperation between Egypt and China in the renewable energy sector. This agreement comes at a perfect time, as Get Solar is nearing the completion of its new factory in New October City. With this new facility, the company aims to significantly increase its production capacity, meet the growing needs of the local market, and expand its exports to the Middle East, Africa, and other international markets. This will definitely boost the competitiveness of Egyptian products and add more value to our national industry. Get Solar emphasized that this agreement is a key part of its long-term strategy to localize advanced technology in the solar sector. They plan to build a fully integrated industrial base that relies on local manufacturing, knowledge transfer, and expertise. This approach will help them keep up with the increasing demand for solar energy solutions both within Egypt and across regional markets. It's worth noting that Get Solar is the only privately-owned factory in Egypt dedicated to manufacturing and assembling solar panels locally. For over six years, they've successfully supplied their products to the Egyptian market and exported them to several international markets, showing just how competitive Egyptian products can be regionally. Beyond standard panels, Get Solar also offers specialized solutions, including BIPV panels designed for building facades, and custom-made panels and solutions tailored to the specific needs of different projects. Solar N Plus brings a wealth of global experience in manufacturing solar cells and panels. They export their products to over 40 countries and regions, with a strong presence in markets like Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This makes them an ideal strategic partner for bringing advanced technology to Egypt and supporting the development of our local solar industry. During the agreement signing, a delegation from Get Solar toured Solar N Plus's facilities. They visited the solar cell and panel factories and saw the fully automated production lines, which use the latest manufacturing technologies and robotics at every stage, from silicon and wafer production all the way to the final cells and panels. The goal was to learn about the best global industrial practices and bring that knowledge back to the Egyptian market. Get Solar confirmed that this partnership truly shows their commitment to continuously investing in local manufacturing, transferring technology, and boosting production capabilities. All these efforts support the localization of advanced industries, strengthen Egypt's position as a regional hub for manufacturing and exporting solar energy products, and open up exciting new avenues for industrial and investment cooperation between Egypt and China in the renewable energy sector.
