Intelaq's EV Accelerator, Backed by Raya and GIZ, Drives Egypt's Electric Vehicle Market Forward

Intelaq company announced the successful conclusion of Egypt's first-ever business accelerator program fully dedicated to the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector. This came after four months of intensive work, which aimed to transform sector-specific research into practical innovation programs that support the industry's development.

The program was launched in collaboration with FutureTECH by Raya, Raya Auto, and GIZ Egypt. It was built upon the findings of the Clean Technology Report 2025, which highlighted clear gaps in the electric mobility market. These gaps were then turned into investment opportunities and actionable projects.

The program saw remarkable interest, with over 30 startup teams applying. Six companies were ultimately selected based on the readiness of their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and their ability to compete in the market. These companies are: EVRAID, Watt Route, Neo Kozmo, Polygon EV, Electrify Mobility, and Voltus EV.

During the accelerator period, participating companies received a comprehensive support package. This included over 60 hours of mentorship and training across 16 specialized sessions, along with technical workshops conducted in collaboration with international EV sector experts from Germany.

The program also featured field visits to Raya Auto factories, as well as tours of XPENG's showroom and service center. This gave the startups direct exposure to the industrial and operational environment.

The program also provided direct networking opportunities with investors and leaders from major corporations, especially during the final Demo Day. This event served as a platform for the startups to showcase their innovative solutions to industry partners.

At the conclusion of the program, Neo Kozmo and Watt Route were selected for a fully funded training trip to China. This trip will allow them to connect with Raya Auto's international partners and gain insights into one of the world's most advanced EV manufacturing systems.

The selection of these two companies was based on the evaluation of a judging panel. This panel included Mohamed Ehab Hafez, CEO of Intelaq; Mohamed El Naggar, CEO of Raya Automotive; and Hany El Sonbaty, Chairman of Flat6Labs Global.

Intelaq emphasized that the program reflects its business model, which focuses on transforming data into actionable decisions. Research reports are not just for analysis; they evolve into practical programs that identify partners, support startups, and open clear pathways for investment and integration with the industrial sector.

Intelaq added that industry partners didn't just provide support; they actively participated in opening supply chains and testing technological solutions in real-world settings. This contributes to accelerating the adoption of innovations within the Egyptian market and driving the growth of the EV sector in the coming phase.
