A recent study by Linnworks, which surveyed 500 mid-market merchants in the UK and US, shows that adopting AI and automation has become a game-changer for business growth and operational efficiency in the e-commerce sector. According to the study's findings, about 89.6% of merchants in the UK and 88.8% of their counterparts in the US reported moderate to significant annual growth. However, the ability to scale up remains a challenge for many companies, directly linked to their level of automation and the maturity of their various sales channels. John Bahl, CEO of Linnworks, highlighted the very close relationship between business growth and operational maturity. He emphasized that the automation tools and strategies provided by Linnworks to participants help boost scalability and achieve optimal performance.
