The "AI Everything Egypt 2026" conference and exhibition kicked off on Wednesday, February 11, 2026! This event is one of the biggest specialized gatherings for Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation in the region. It brought together top government officials, key decision-makers, leaders from global tech companies, and AI experts from Egypt, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. A major highlight was the launch of the "Sovereign AI Summit" within the conference. This summit focused on building national AI systems, boosting data sovereignty, developing digital infrastructure, and establishing responsible AI governance. All these efforts aim to support economic growth, promote sustainability, and build trust in technology. The first day's activities started bright and early with attendee registration from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a VIP Exhibition Tour from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The opening session officially began at 10:30 AM with welcoming remarks from Rebecca McLaughlin-Eastham, a presenter and broadcaster at RME Media (UAE), which lasted until 10:35 AM. Then, Trixie LohMirmand, the global organizer of GITEX, delivered the official opening address.
