Converted has announced its acquisition of Mitcha, a prominent e-commerce platform dedicated to supporting local designers in Egypt. This strategic move aims to expand Converted's data-driven digital commerce ecosystem, focusing on measurable results. Hilda Louca, Mitcha's founder, will join Converted as a partner and executive director. In her new role, she will lead strategic partnerships and regional expansion efforts. This deal is a pivotal step to integrate Mitcha's community of designers and customers into Converted's ecosystem. It will significantly enhance the company's ability to develop advertising products that drive actual conversions. The acquisition also accelerates the launch of "Converted Orders," a product designed to run highly precise advertising campaigns focused on achieving real sales by directly linking ad spend to orders and revenue. The product's operational model integrates digital advertising with payment and order verification within a single, comprehensive system. This allows advertising campaigns to learn from actual sales data rather than just clicks, which boosts advertising spend efficiency and strengthens merchants' ability to measure the true return on investment from their marketing campaigns. In her new role, Hilda Louca will lead efforts to build strategic partnerships and drive regional expansion, focusing on developing alliances with partners across Egypt and the wider region. Louca brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and digital commerce. She founded Mitcha to support local designers, has been honored by Forbes Middle East, and served as a judge on Shark Tank Egypt. Hilda Louca commented: "Joining Converted's ecosystem is a significant step in Mitcha's growth journey. By combining our market expertise and strong designer community with Converted's advanced data and product development capabilities, we can transform relationships between designers and merchants into measurable business results. We look forward to launching smart, AI-powered marketing campaigns that achieve real sales for designers and merchants in Egypt and the region." Mohamed Fergani, Founder and CEO of Converted, added: "This move will enhance our ability to bring together creative talent, audience data, and payment processes within an integrated digital commerce ecosystem. Integrating Mitcha adds significant value to 'Converted Orders' and our entire product suite, enabling merchants to scale efficiently and achieve clear, verifiable results from their advertising investments."
