Wael Ziada, the Founder and CEO of Zilla Capital, emphasized that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to bring about a radical transformation in the financial sector, essentially rewriting the rules of how business is done in the markets. Ziada clarified that this shift won't eliminate the role of financial and technical analysts. Instead, it will equip them with advanced tools that significantly boost their productivity and help them make decisions faster and with greater accuracy. He shared these insights during his participation in the FinTech and Finance Conference. Ziada stressed that over recent years, Egypt has seen a remarkable expansion in implementing e-invoicing and digital services within its tax system. He considers this a fundamental pillar of the country's comprehensive digital transformation plan. Ziada added that companies and governments can no longer afford to ignore this transformation, noting that AI has become an undeniable reality. He believes that those who strive to keep pace with technological advancements will successfully ride this wave, while those who lag will find themselves out of the competition. The Executive Founder of Zilla Capital pointed out that modern technology often thrives in countries with high population densities and lower levels of prosperity, giving examples like Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. He highlighted that Egypt is particularly poised for rapid adoption of new technologies, with the private sector leading the way even before the government. Ziada affirmed that this path will position Egypt among the leading countries in the region for adopting AI applications. He strongly emphasized that financial and technical analysts will remain an essential component of the market, provided they integrate AI tools into their daily work to keep up with the demands of our digital future.
