The smartphone market is entering a new phase of competition, with global companies shifting their focus from hardware development to integrating artificial intelligence into device design and user experience. In this context, Samsung has strengthened its presence in the foldable phone market by launching three new phones. This move aims to expand the user base before new competitors, most notably Apple, enter this category. Samsung Electronics unveiled the new generation of its foldable phones, which includes the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. All are equipped with Gemini AI technologies developed by Google, aiming to provide a more personalized experience that adapts to users' different needs and usage patterns. Ro Tae-moon, Co-CEO of Samsung Electronics and Head of Mobile Communications Business, stated during the Galaxy Unpacked event in London that the evolution of AI technologies will make smartphones the main gateway for delivering smarter, more personalized experiences capable of understanding and adapting to each user's needs.
