These centers are a key part of e-Tax's role in supporting both the Egyptian Tax Authority and the Real Estate Tax Authority. The company has been authorized to provide a comprehensive package of direct tax services, which will help ease the burden on taxpayers and boost the technical and IT support they receive. The new centers will offer a complete range of services, starting with tax registration. This includes voluntary registration, updating personal data, and issuing or replacing lost tax cards. They'll also handle temporary suspensions and simplified registration, making tax procedures easier for everyone. An important part of the services will be tax awareness and support. The centers will guide taxpayers on how to comply with tax rules, handle various declarations and forms, and answer questions about the e-invoice and e-receipt systems, ultimately raising awareness within the tax community. Embracing digital transformation, the centers will provide specialized services for the e-invoice and e-receipt systems. This includes registration, system activation, coding goods and services, and point-of-sale support, ensuring a smooth transition to modern digital systems. e-Tax will also offer full technical support services. These aim to fix technical issues, support integration between different systems, and provide immediate solutions to operational challenges. Plus, there will be special services for real estate taxes, covering registration, activation, declarations, payments, and answering inquiries. The centers will rely on advanced technological infrastructure, allowing taxpayers to manage their services easily. This includes integration with digital applications and the ability to book appointments and track requests online, saving time and effort while improving service efficiency. e-Tax is also building a team of highly trained staff, ready to provide professional and flexible support to taxpayers. This ensures quick responses and practical solutions that meet customer needs. As part of its expansion plan, the company aims to open the first phase of these Distinguished Tax Service Centers in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and Alamein. The New Cairo center will be the first to officially open and welcome taxpayers. These centers are expected to significantly increase taxpayer satisfaction and encourage more voluntary participation in the tax system.
