However, users have unlimited editing freedom within that initial 15-minute window, giving them a chance to refine their comments before they become permanent. To ensure transparency, the platform will also display an "Edited" tag on comments that have been modified, letting other users know a change has occurred. However, there won't be a history of previous edits available. This update is part of Instagram's ongoing effort to develop interaction tools and keep up with user needs, aiming for a more flexible and precise experience within the platform, all while maintaining clarity in public conversations.
