The Saudi Venture Capital Company (SVC) has announced the launch of 'Aian,' an internally owned and developed artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Its goal is to strengthen SVC's role as a market maker in Saudi Arabia's private capital ecosystem and to transform data into actionable insights that support sustainable market growth. 'Aian' uses AI to turn SVC's huge database and deep company knowledge into clear, instant insights about how the market is moving, how different sectors are growing, and how capital is being formed. This platform essentially transforms the company's past experiences and knowledge into smart, growing intelligence. This means decisions will always be based on the latest market data, combined with a long-term historical view. Noura Al Sarhan, SVC's Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, commented, 'The growth of the private capital market in the Kingdom demands clarity, transparency, and data integrity, which are just as crucial as the funding itself. 'Aian' represents a new layer of national market infrastructure, contributing to enhanced institutional trust, enabling evidence-based decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth. This will further solidify the Kingdom's position as a regional hub for private capital, aligning with the objectives of Vision 2030.' Meanwhile, Athari Al Mubarak, SVC's Chief Strategy Officer, explained that the challenge in private capital markets is no longer just about accessing funding, but about obtaining accurate and reliable insights, especially in rapidly growing emerging markets. He stressed that 'Aian' acts as the core data system for the entire ecosystem. It provides consistent, unified data, which helps in creating specific, targeted strategies. This also means that important discussions about regulations and policies can be based on solid facts, not just opinions. The platform brings together SVC's own investment data with carefully chosen external market information. This creates a live picture of how capital is being used over time. It also comes with customizable dashboards that provide regular and predictive analysis. This helps SVC spot key areas that need attention and constantly adjust how capital is allocated, making market decisions much more precise and clear.
