Schneider Electric, in collaboration with PARAGON | ADEER and its technology partner Plug and Play Tech Center, has announced the launch of a new strategic initiative called the “AI 100 Program.” This program will be hosted within Egypt's first integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) campus, located within the Sumou Boulevard project. The Memorandum of Understanding for this initiative was signed during an exclusive event organized by PARAGON | ADEER, attended by a distinguished group of government and investment leaders. This move highlights a rapid push towards building a comprehensive AI innovation ecosystem. The AI campus is situated at the heart of an integrated urban system within the project. It's designed as an open, collaborative platform to support long-term growth and enhance integration across various sectors, with plans to launch more partnerships and initiatives in the coming phases. The campus focuses on three main strategic pillars: AI and innovation, education, and energy efficiency. From this foundation, the “AI 100” program aims to support and develop 100 Egyptian AI startups by 2030 through a four-year initiative. The program offers a comprehensive package of activities, including intensive training bootcamps, specialized workshops in industry and venture capital, practical AI programs, and investment readiness tracks. Additionally, it directly integrates startups into the campus ecosystem, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. Eng. Badeer Rizk, CEO of PARAGON | ADEER, shared his excitement, stating, “The launch of the AI campus at Sumou Boulevard marks a turning point for innovation in Egypt, bringing together innovation, education, and sustainability in one integrated system. She noted that connecting local startups with global networks will help accelerate innovation and empower entrepreneurs to compete internationally. The program's launch comes at a time when the AI sector is experiencing rapid growth, underscoring the importance of investing in digital infrastructure and building integrated systems to support startups and advanced technology in emerging markets.
