Saudi company DataVolt, a specialist in developing large-scale data centers and digital infrastructure, has successfully secured $150 million in asset-backed financing. This funding will support the construction and operation of a sustainable data center in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The financing is specifically for the "TAS-1" project, which will have an operational capacity of 12 megawatts. This project is expected to go live in the second half of 2026, making it one of the largest green data centers ready for AI applications in the Central Asia region.
