The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Faraj Khalil, the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education; Mahdi Shuaib, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Khaled Al-Saadawi, the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs; and Faisal Hassan. Also in attendance were the Director of Emaar Libya Holding Company and many other national leaders and representatives from both public and private institutions.

Launching the Ro'ya Platform

A major highlight of the forum was the launch of the Ro'ya Platform, designed to empower digital initiatives. Its main goal is to embrace digital projects and support those with innovative, entrepreneurial ideas. On top of that, an exciting initiative was announced to train 300 individuals in digital leadership. This is all part of the Foundation's bigger effort to develop national talent capable of thriving in our fast-paced digital era.

The forum also celebrated the first group of graduates from the '500 Graduates Initiative' in Artificial Intelligence and modern technologies, and honored the first batch from the 'Young Engineer Initiative,' recognizing all their hard work and achievements.

Programming and Innovation Competitions

To further champion excellence and innovation, Dr. Oqba Khalifa Haftar personally honored the Libyan teams who achieved top spots in international programming and innovation competitions. This was a wonderful way to support our national talents and encourage them to keep representing Libya proudly on regional and global stages.

The Ro'ya Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Arab University for Medical Sciences and Technology for hosting this forum. Their contribution was key to the success of this national event, which aims to boost innovation, drive digital transformation, and empower youth initiatives all over Libya.
