Orange Egypt Offers Free International Calls to Help Customers Connect During Lebanon Crisis

Orange Egypt, working together with the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), has announced that it's offering free international calling minutes to its customers. This thoughtful gesture aims to help them check in on their family and friends in Lebanon, especially given the current situation. The company clarified that it will provide its customers with 5 free international calling minutes every day for three days, starting tomorrow, Saturday, April 11th. This move comes as Lebanon faces a rapidly escalating military situation, with intensified Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas, particularly in the south and the southern suburbs of Beirut. These developments are happening amidst ongoing efforts and discussions to reach a ceasefire, alongside threats of expanding ground operations.
