The Financial Regulatory Authority has officially approved Nice Deer as a FinTech startup. The company will operate within the commercial finance sector under the Authority's supervision. Nice Deer explained that this approval marks a new step in its journey to reshape the financial infrastructure within the healthcare sector by using artificial intelligence technologies and integrated financial solutions. Nice Deer was founded in early 2022 and currently operates in the Egyptian market. Its goal is to address the existing gap between healthcare providers, health insurance companies, funding entities, and beneficiaries of the health insurance system. The company focuses on simplifying insurance procedures and speeding up the payment of insurance claims. This, in turn, boosts the efficiency of the healthcare system and improves the experience for all parties involved. Nice Deer functions as a unified digital platform, relying on a single operating interface. This platform enables direct connections between healthcare providers and a large number of health insurance companies and medical service funders. It also makes communication easier between patients and doctors. The platform also helps streamline the approval processes for dispensing medications, conducting examinations, X-rays, and medical analyses more efficiently, without repeating procedures. All this is done while fully adhering to the terms of insurance policies and not exceeding the maximum limits set for each beneficiary. The company had previously received preliminary approval to offer financing services to pharmacies within its network. This means a pharmacy can get funding against a health insurance prescription invoice, which gives them faster cash flow and reduces the risks associated with traditional financing methods. This initiative creates a seamless integration between the digital health system and pharmacy financing. It helps speed up the capital cycle, improves the efficiency of medical service delivery, and enhances the experience for both customers and beneficiaries of the health insurance system.
