Moroccan Startup Colis Goes Global, Opens First International Office in Brussels

Moroccan cross-border logistics startup Colis has announced the opening of its first international agency, strengthening its physical presence in Brussels, Belgium. The company, founded in 2022 by Issam Daroui, helps individuals and businesses send and receive parcels to and from six European countries, having delivered over 55,000 packages in the past two years. Colis completed a $300,000 pre-seed funding round in October 2024 to boost its local presence and expand into West Africa. This achievement marks the company's first footprint in Europe and its evolution into a multinational enterprise. With the opening of the Brussels agency, Colis now combines partner locations with its own dedicated infrastructure, enhancing operational control, service quality, and delivery speed. Issam Daroui, the company's founder and CEO, stated, "Brussels isn't just a new destination in our network; it's a strategic hub that strengthens our operations, accelerates our growth, and reflects our long-term international vision. Brussels is the foundation for a larger international roadmap, and this step represents our commitment to connecting individuals and businesses across continents."
