In line with Egyptian universities' drive to enhance their developmental role and expand their contribution to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, Monofia University has launched a new initiative called 'Intilaqa'. This initiative is proudly sponsored by Professor Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kasid, the University President, and Professor Dr. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. This move aims to empower students and graduates, helping them turn their ideas into productive projects. The initiative comes as part of a joint collaboration between Monofia University and the SME Development Authority. This partnership reflects an institutional commitment to linking the educational process with labor market demands and fostering a culture of self-employment within the university community. 'Intilaqa' seeks to build a comprehensive system to support entrepreneurship by providing training and qualification programs, alongside the necessary technical support to transform innovative ideas into viable projects. The initiative focuses on targeting various groups within the university. It opens its doors to both students and graduates, whether they have existing projects they wish to develop, or ideas they aspire to turn into reality. It also welcomes beginners eager to enter the field of entrepreneurship, offering specialized training pathways tailored to their different skill levels.
