While many companies focus heavily on preparing business plans and strategies, Engineer Mohamed Al-Ashwal, an expert in business development and corporate sales strategies, believes the real challenge isn't in the planning itself. Instead, it's in the ability to execute those plans and turn them into practical results. Al-Ashwal stated in a post that many companies don't fail because of weak business plans or a lack of strategy, but rather after the execution phase begins. This often happens due to the absence of necessary tools and mechanisms to effectively monitor performance and manage operations. He explained that successful plan execution requires clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring dashboards to measure performance, alongside Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Regular meetings to review execution and make appropriate decisions are also crucial. He pointed out that the absence of these tools reduces companies' ability to track their progress and achieve targeted results, even if they possess clear business plans and strategies.
