MCS to Showcase Digital Transformation Strategy for Energy Sector at EGYPS 2026

Middle East Information Technology Services (MCS) has announced its participation in the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition – EGYPS 2026. This event, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from March 30 to April 1, is the most prominent platform for the energy sector in North Africa and the Mediterranean. It serves as a strategic hub for international dialogue on the future of energy, investment, and the role of technology in supporting the sector. MCS's participation aligns with its vision to enhance the integration of advanced technological solutions within energy systems. This integration aims to boost operational efficiency, strengthen the security of critical infrastructure, and support data-driven decision-making. This move reflects the company's strategic direction to be a trusted partner in developing digital infrastructure and cybersecurity in Egypt and the wider region. Commenting on this, Eng. Tarek Shabaka, Chairman of MCS, stated that their participation extends the company's role in supporting the digital transformation of the Egyptian economy. He explained that the synergy between energy and technology has become a key driver for sustainable development and enhanced competitiveness. He also noted that holding the conference in Egypt highlights the country's growing status as a regional energy and technology hub, capable of connecting African, European, and Middle Eastern markets, thereby attracting investments and fostering international partnerships. Shabaka added that the conference provides a platform bringing together decision-makers, industry leaders, and investors to turn visions into tangible investment opportunities and partnerships that support the future of the energy sector. He emphasized that MCS's participation reflects its commitment to sustainability by offering technological solutions that reduce environmental impact and improve energy consumption efficiency, aligning with global trends towards a green economy. During its participation in EGYPS 2026, MCS is expected to showcase a comprehensive range of advanced digital solutions designed to support digital transformation in the energy sector. These solutions include digital infrastructure and modern data centers, cloud computing platforms and data management systems, artificial intelligence and real-time analytics solutions, cybersecurity technologies to protect critical infrastructure, in addition to specialized OT & IoT solutions for the energy sector. All these aim to enhance operational efficiency and enable smarter, more flexible resource management. These solutions are designed to transform energy systems into smarter, more flexible environments, boost operational performance, improve resource management, and address challenges in an increasingly complex digital landscape. This will position the Egyptian energy sector on an advanced path towards sustainable digital transformation.
