The venture capital activity in the Arab region shows that investors are still really focused on companies offering solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies. There's also growing interest in real estate technology, digital infrastructure, and clean energy sectors. Between July 5 and 11, 2026, the region announced 7 investment deals totaling $16.7 million, with UAE companies leading the way and securing most of the announced operations. **UAE Dominates Most Deals** The biggest deal of the week came from Keyper, a UAE-based real estate technology company. They successfully raised $11 million in a Series A funding round, marking the largest announced investment during this period. Also, AVELIN.AI, a sovereign AI platform based in the UAE, secured $3.7 million in a pre-seed funding round. This really highlights the increasing investor interest in specialized AI solutions. The UAE also saw Dubizzle Group announce a strategic investment in Takeem, a real estate technology platform that specializes in solutions for protecting and guaranteeing rental agreements. The financial value of this deal wasn't disclosed. In the clean energy sector, Incubayt Investments announced a strategic investment in Planno, a platform focused on geospatial AI solutions for the solar energy sector. Meanwhile, Azraq, a platform specializing in AI-powered risk intelligence solutions for data centers and digital infrastructure, received new funding in a pre-seed round, though the investment amount wasn't revealed. **Morocco and Saudi Arabia Also on the Funding Map** In Morocco, ORA Technologies, a multi-service platform, announced the closing of an extension to its Series A funding round, securing $2 million. This funding will support their expansion plans and help them develop their digital services. Over in Saudi Arabia, Uvera, a deep tech company focused on food preservation and extending shelf life using blockchain and IoT technologies, attracted new investments in a seed funding round. The value of this funding was not announced. This week's deals confirm that capital continues to flow towards startups developing solutions based on AI and advanced digital technologies. There's also a growing interest from investors in real estate technology, digital security, and sustainable energy sectors, which really shows how investment priorities are shifting within the Arab entrepreneurial ecosystem.
