The Education Development Fund, which is part of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, has announced the launch of a new, free French language program. The goal is to boost young people's skills and equip them with language abilities that will enhance their job prospects both within Egypt and abroad, especially in countries where French is an official or primary language for work and communication. The Fund clarified that registration for the program is open to various age groups, from preparatory school students all the way to university graduates and recent grads. Registration will remain open until the first phase of beneficiaries is complete. They also mentioned that the program offers comprehensive training to develop essential French language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This will help participants gain the practical ability to use the language in everyday and professional situations. The program will be delivered through the Education Development Fund's e-learning platform. This platform provides interactive training content, including specialized educational videos, language practice sessions, tools to measure progress, and regular quizzes and tests to monitor trainees' performance. The Fund emphasized that participation in the program is completely free, with no fees for applicants. This is part of their efforts to support capacity building and provide educational tools that help prepare young people to integrate into various job markets.
