Dr. Ahmed Rostom, Egypt's Minister of Planning and Economic Development, met with Haitham Al-Maayergi, Vice President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). They explored ways to boost their joint cooperation to support startups and entrepreneurship, and to help Egyptian companies expand into African markets. This meeting is part of the ongoing strategic partnership between Egypt and Afreximbank. The discussion was also attended by Amr El Abd, the Prime Minister's Advisor for Entrepreneurship; Dr. Heba Zaki, Director of the Egypt Entrepreneurship Center; and Mohamed Metwally, Managing Director of NI Capital, a subsidiary of the National Investment Bank. Several leaders from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development were also present.
