The use of artificial intelligence in the government sector is moving into a new phase. It's going beyond just digitizing and making data available, and instead focusing on developing smart AI agents. These agents can analyze information and generate insights that help decision-makers and make public policy-making more efficient. In this exciting context, Data Saudi, a platform under the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning, has announced the launch of a pilot version of its new tool, "INSAIGHTS." This tool is the first AI agent specifically designed to analyze economic and social data in the Kingdom. The tool uses Generative AI technology. Its main goal is to make it easier to access economic and social data, turning it into analyses and insights. This helps users understand key indicators and supports their decision-making processes. "INSAIGHTS" lets users interact with data using natural language. You can ask questions directly and get instant answers and analyses about economic and social indicators. It also simplifies data, making information easily accessible without needing specialized technical expertise.
Targeting Decision-Makers and Researchers
The tool aims to serve a wide range of users. This includes leaders and decision-makers, economic researchers and analysts, data analysts, government entities, private sector businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, students, and anyone interested in Saudi economic affairs and data. Through "INSAIGHTS," the Data Saudi platform hopes to improve how people interact with government data. It's moving from simply displaying indicators and statistics to providing an interactive, AI-powered environment. This environment will extract knowledge and turn data into actionable insights to support economic decisions.Pilot Version
The platform clarified that the tool is still in its pilot phase. It emphasized how important it is to review the data, original sources, and verify results before relying on them for decisions, until its development is complete and the final version is launched.
