Mohamed El-Mufti, CEO of ICT Egypt, a company specializing in technology solutions and digital infrastructure, emphasized that crises reveal an organization's resilience. He added, in a LinkedIn post, that as the conflict between Iran and the United States escalated and impacted the global tech scene, harmful practices targeting websites became much more apparent. Since the start of the Iran conflict, these attacks have surged by over 245%. This highlights the massive scale of threats that can cross geographical borders and target companies across various sectors, especially the digital sector worldwide. El-Mufti explained that this reality confirms that business continuity during crises is no longer just an organizational choice; it has become a strategic priority. He pointed out that organizations adopting flexible plans and integrating preventive measures with modern technologies are much better prepared to protect their data, ensure their operations continue smoothly, and maintain customer trust even in the toughest circumstances. Engineer Mohamed El-Mufti also noted that true business sustainability lies in preparedness, readiness, and having alternative plans in place to deal with crises when they happen.
