iCareer has announced it's organizing a webinar as part of the RTU program. The event will host Eng. Walaa Salem, Project Manager at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), with the goal of introducing participants to available opportunities in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, along with training and employment paths specifically targeting people with disabilities.

The webinar will introduce the 'Taheel' platform and the opportunities provided by the MCIT. It will also review the cooperation mechanisms between the Ministry, private sector companies, and various institutions to support people with disabilities and empower them to access real training and employment opportunities, especially within the ICT sector.

Additionally, the webinar will shine a detailed light on a 'training for employment' opportunity currently offered by Raya Information Technology for graduates and practitioners with disabilities, aiming to qualify them for the job market and enhance their professional readiness.

The webinar targets graduates holding a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, as well as graduates from other specializations who possess an academic or practical background in IT. The program does not require a specific age or governorate of residence, provided that the applicant has already completed their university studies.

The webinar is scheduled to be held on June 25th, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Please note that the number of available seats is limited, and you can register here

This seminar is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as part of the RTU program. The program is part of the develoPPP initiative, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The seminar is also supported by RAYA Tech University and GIZ Egypt, as part of a campaign implemented by iCareer that aims to reach candidates with disabilities and provide them with real opportunities to access jobs in the Information and Communication Technology sector.
