i-score Warns Customers: Beware of Online Scams Posing as Us!

The Egyptian Credit Bureau, i-score, has issued a warning to customers about a rise in online fraud attempts. These scams exploit the company's name through fake apps, pages, and links, aiming to steal users' personal data or trick them into downloading unofficial applications.

In its advisory, the company emphasized that it never asks customers for personal information via text messages, social media, or phone calls. It also confirmed that it does not send links asking customers to click on them or enter their personal details through them.

i-score stressed that its role does not involve providing loans or credit facilities to customers. It reiterated that any messages or communications claiming to offer loans or requesting fees or payments for financial services in i-score's name are fraudulent attempts and should be treated with extreme caution.

The Egyptian Credit Bureau, i-score, clarified that any request to download unofficial applications or share personal or financial data should be ignored immediately. Customers should also refrain from clicking on any unknown links that might be sent in the company's name.

The company urged customers to rely only on its official channels for information and services. They should follow i-score's official accounts on social media platforms and visit its official website to verify the authenticity of any information or announcements being circulated.

Furthermore, the Egyptian Credit Bureau, i-score, appealed to customers to promptly report any impersonation or fraud attempts using the company's name by contacting the short number 16262. This will help protect users and reduce fraudulent activities.

In its warning, the company highlighted the importance of keeping personal data confidential and not sharing it with any untrusted parties. It stressed that digital awareness and verifying information sources are the first line of defense against the increasing online fraud attempts.
