In a move that shows Huawei Cloud's commitment to supporting the next generation of digital investment platforms, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thunder, a leading digital investment platform in Egypt. This signing happened during the Huawei Cloud Fintech Summit 2026. The goal is to boost their collaboration in financial technology and support digital innovation using cloud computing, artificial intelligence solutions, and secure digital infrastructure. The MoU was signed by Joe Xu, CEO of Huawei Cloud Egypt, and Ahmed Hamouda, Co-founder and CEO of Thunder. Many leaders from the financial and technology sectors, along with strategic partners attending the summit, were present.
