Flash Co-founder Sherine Kabsh Explains How Financial Apps Are Changing Youth Money Habits

Sherine Kabsh, co-founder of the Flash app, shared that the future of digital payments isn't just about making transactions easier anymore. It's also about completely reshaping how people, especially the younger generation, handle and manage their money every single day. She emphasized that Flash focuses on providing complete solutions that let users easily pay various bills and make payments by scanning QR codes. This really shows the fast shift towards relying on digital tools in our daily lives. During the second day of the Egypt Career Summit, Sherine Kabsh explained that the path of technological development is closely tied to what communities need. She noted that every historical period has its turning points that change our relationship with technology, much like when computers first appeared or when Internet Explorer launched. These were huge leaps that completely changed the rules of how we used technology. She added that the current generation is incredibly lucky because they've experienced two major phases: first, the widespread growth of the internet, and second, the current boom in Artificial Intelligence technologies, which continue to redefine how we work and produce. She pointed out that these technologies have significantly helped speed up tasks, especially in areas like research and analysis. This has reduced our reliance on manual work and made it much easier for individuals to launch startups compared to how it was in the past. She also highlighted a big change in the work culture among young people. She explained that the traditional path of joining large companies, once seen as the safest option, is no longer the dominant choice. Today, entrepreneurship is a recognized career path, supported by specialized educational and training programs.
