In line with this trend, Dubai-based FinTech group Equiti has announced the opening of its new technology center in Bengaluru, India. This move is part of its strategy to expand its tech capabilities and enhance the development of AI-powered financial solutions. The center will play a key role in executing the group's technology roadmap by fostering innovation in software engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. This will help develop more efficient, flexible, and secure financial services. Equiti chose Bengaluru for its new center because of the city's global reputation as a leading hub for technology and innovation. Bengaluru is home to major tech companies, fast-growing startups, and pioneering research institutions, along with a vast pool of engineering and technical talent. The center is expected to accelerate the development of digital products and strengthen the group's engineering capabilities. Sartaj Singh, Chief Technology Officer at Equiti Group, stated that the center's opening reflects the company's vision to build an integrated innovation ecosystem. He emphasized that Bengaluru is not just a global tech hub but also offers a rich environment of talent capable of developing innovative solutions in the FinTech sector, while also contributing to preparing the next generation of engineers and specialists. Akshit Jain, CEO of Equiti India and Head of Client Platform Development for the group, added that the new center will allow the company to tap into one of the world's largest pools of tech talent. This will support the development of solutions capable of addressing complex technical challenges on a global scale, while also providing long-term career opportunities within the Indian market. The opening of the Bengaluru center is part of Equiti's strategy to expand its investments in technology and innovation and strengthen tech collaboration between the UAE and India. This will involve developing advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, ultimately supporting the delivery of more sophisticated digital financial services to customers across various markets.
