Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology recently announced that outsourcing exports reached an impressive $5.2 billion last year. They're not stopping there, with a goal to hit $6 billion this year! This really shows the government's strong commitment to boosting IT service exports. The Ministry also highlighted that Egypt is currently home to over 270 outsourcing centers, where global companies provide services to their clients all around the world. The Ministry further explained that it's now rolling out the second phase of its strategy to develop the outsourcing industry. This big step aims to make Egypt even more competitive, especially with AI technologies increasingly shaping global job markets. This exciting update comes directly from the official Facebook page of the Egyptian Cabinet Presidency. In line with these efforts, the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology added that it has held a series of meetings with top officials from several major global outsourcing companies. These discussions focused on exploring new investment and expansion opportunities within the Egyptian market, as well as figuring out how to best support the growth of their operations. This is all happening as these companies plan to expand their investments in Egypt through 2028.
