In line with Egypt's vision to boost digital exports and open new horizons for Egyptian technological products in global markets, civil society organizations focused on technology are getting ready. This effort is a partnership between the Chamber of Information Technology and Communications Industry (CIT), the Etisal Association (Eitesal), and the Digital Economy and Technology Division (DETGE). They are creating opportunities for Egyptian companies to participate in the activities of both GITEX AI Everything – Kenya exhibition and conference, which will be held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, from May 19 to 21 this month. These entities are also preparing to participate in the GITEX Europe – Berlin exhibition and conference, scheduled to be held in the German capital, Berlin, from June 30 to July 1, 2026. These events aim to support Egyptian companies in entering international markets. They represent an excellent platform for showcasing technological solutions, building international partnerships (Business Matching), and exploring expansion opportunities in African and European markets. Egyptian technology companies participating in these exhibitions is a significant step towards enhancing their openness to global markets. This is especially true for the German market, which is considered one of the largest, most advanced, and high-value markets, in addition to the African market, particularly Kenya, which is classified as one of the fastest-growing emerging markets. Through this participation, civil society organizations seek to directly connect Egyptian companies that offer innovative technological solutions with investors and international partners. This will enable them to showcase their products and ideas, providing them with new growth opportunities and accelerating their global expansion. Furthermore, the three organizations aim to empower Egyptian technology companies to access European and African markets. They plan to achieve this by enhancing networking opportunities with strategic partners and building cooperative relationships with major international companies. Additionally, they will connect these companies with investors and investment funds, which will contribute to supporting their international expansion plans and accelerating their growth.
