As part of Egypt's push to speed up digital transformation and get its key institutions ready for new technologies, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) teamed up with the Egyptian Public Prosecution. Together, they organized a specialized training program on "Safe and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence" at the National Anti-Corruption Academy, which is part of the Administrative Control Authority.

This move shows a big shift in how AI technologies are being brought into the judicial system. It's not just about using the tech, but also about making sure it's governed legally, securely, and ethically. This ensures these tools are used properly without compromising justice or the rule of law.

Digital Empowerment for a Sensitive Judicial Institution

The program, which ran over four training sessions, targeted 160 members of the Public Prosecution. This highlights the growing focus on building digital capabilities within an institution that handles some of the state's most sensitive data and information.

This initiative also reveals a growing awareness within judicial institutions about the importance of keeping up with digital transformation. This isn't just about technological infrastructure, but also about developing the skills of human resources who can work with modern AI tools.
