Egypt's Investment Minister Meets EVRAID to Drive Local EV Production and Exports

Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Egypt's Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, recently met with the founders and team of EVRAID, an Egyptian startup focused on localizing electric vehicle (EV) technology. The meeting aimed to discuss the company's plans to develop local industry and boost its contributions to manufacturing and exports. This aligns perfectly with Egypt's national strategy to deepen industrial capabilities and build an economy driven by technology and innovation. The EVRAID delegation included Eng. Sherif Diab, CEO and Managing Director; Ahmed El-Shazly, CTO; and Gamal Tamraz, Business Development Manager. Representing the Ministry were Noha Khalil, Acting CEO of the Sovereign Fund; Mohamed Ayyad, Assistant Minister for Media Promotion and Information; and Eng. Qassem Hassan, Director of the Industrial Fund at the Sovereign Fund.
