During his visit to the Control, Command, and Technical Support Center in the Government District of the New Administrative Capital, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly saw firsthand an integrated operational model. This model relies on centralized digital management of government infrastructure, showing a clear shift from traditional administration to systems driven by data and real-time monitoring. Eng. Raafat Hendy, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, emphasized that Egypt is committed to implementing a strategy to build advanced technological infrastructure that meets the highest global standards. He highlighted this as the true foundation for creating a digital society capable of delivering more efficient and sustainable services. The minister also noted that his ministry is actively working to create an attractive investment environment within the communications and information technology sector. He added that expanding data center construction is a strategic priority right now. This effort aims to solidify Egypt's position as a regional hub for the data industry, while also supporting the growth of cloud computing and other advanced technologies. Ultimately, this will speed up digital transformation across all government institutions. The components of the Control, Command, and Technical Support Center reveal a vast digital infrastructure. It includes thousands of devices, network equipment, aggregation rooms, and data transmission systems. This serves various ministries and government entities within the New Administrative Capital's Government District, showcasing a high level of interconnectedness between different digital systems. This operational complexity made it necessary to create a unified center to manage and monitor the technical performance of the digital infrastructure. This center acts as a central platform, capable of real-time monitoring, predicting malfunctions, and proactively addressing issues before they impact government services. The center houses specialized operational units covering cybersecurity, proactive monitoring, technical support, crisis management, data analysis, and information databases. This setup ensures highly efficient operations and continuous service delivery without interruption. The system also relies on technical teams working around the clock to monitor networks and systems, analyze technical reports, and develop proactive operational and maintenance plans. These plans aim to reduce response times and improve overall performance. During the tour, different levels of technical support were showcased. This ranged from predicting problems using smart monitoring systems to specialized technical intervention for more complex situations, all to ensure government services continue to run with high efficiency. This model reflects the ongoing transformation in how Egypt manages its digital infrastructure. The focus is no longer just on providing services, but also on building an operational system capable of smart management, prediction, and continuous performance improvement. At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister reaffirmed that the achievements within the center represent a significant step in Egypt's digital transformation journey. He stated that it embodies the state's direction towards implementing advanced technological solutions in administrative management, which will boost the efficiency and sustainability of services provided to citizens.
