The Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) has announced that applications are now open for its "AI for Banking Diploma" program! This is a fantastic step aimed at boosting the capabilities of professionals in banks and financial institutions, helping them keep pace with the rapid digital transformations happening in the financial sector. The program is designed to give participants essential knowledge and skills to work effectively in a financial environment powered by AI technologies. It really focuses on practical applications, covering important areas like fraud prevention, anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, risk assessment, improving customer experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance. What's more, the diploma offers hands-on training with the latest AI tools, including GPT technologies, Prompt Engineering, and smart automation tools. At the same time, the program also emphasizes governance and ethical practices related to AI use, all in line with the Central Bank of Egypt's standards. This ensures that digital innovation goes hand-in-hand with regulatory commitment. A key feature of the program is its applied learning approach, which uses case studies, simulations, and practical exercises. This is all about preparing participants to tackle real-world challenges in the financial sector and strengthening their ability to make smart decisions based on data and intelligent analytics. The program is made up of five integrated training tracks. Applicants can join these tracks independently or sequentially to earn the accredited diploma certificate. Just a heads-up, the final deadline for applications is March 19, 2026. This diploma is part of the FinTech Egypt initiative, which comes from the Central Bank of Egypt. It's being delivered through the Digital Academy in collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute, New Giza University (NGU), and Injaz Training Institute (part of Injaz Consulting). This whole effort is about enhancing the skills of banking professionals and connecting them with the latest global technological innovations.
