CyShield Launches New Digital Visa System at Cairo Airport, Boosting Egypt's Global Appeal

Cairo International Airport just got a new digital upgrade! CyShield Technology announced its success in developing and operating a new Visa on Arrival (VOA) system. This exciting step happened under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, as part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to boost digital transformation and enhance the travel experience at Egyptian airports.

This project is a strategic move for Egypt, aligning with the country's vision to become a regional hub for technology and smart services. It's all about strengthening Egypt's position on the global map for tourism and investment.

An all-Egyptian technical team at CyShield carried out the project, led by Dr. Mostafa Issa. He oversaw the development and implementation to ensure the system operates with top-notch efficiency.

The team emphasized that this project truly showcases the ability of Egyptian talent to design and develop digital solutions that can compete globally. These solutions are built to meet the needs of busy, high-traffic airports, focusing on improving performance and raising the quality of services offered.

The team also explained that the system's development was based on a comprehensive vision centered on speed, accuracy, and enhancing the user experience, all while sticking to the highest standards of digital security and data protection.

The new digital visa system offers a bunch of great benefits. Most notably, it speeds up visa issuance procedures and cuts down waiting times in arrival halls. It also boosts integration between relevant authorities to ensure smooth and accurate data flow, enhances cybersecurity with advanced encryption technologies, and provides a simplified digital user interface to support travelers and make procedures easier.

These advantages directly help reduce congestion at the airport, improve operational efficiency, and boost the overall quality of services.

CyShield Technology continues to solidify its role as a strategic partner for the Egyptian state in executing major technological projects, especially in digital transformation and cybersecurity. The success of the Visa on Arrival project clearly shows how their engineering teams can turn challenges into innovative solutions that benefit the state, its citizens, and visitors.

This project also supports the goals of "Egypt Vision 2030." It does this by developing integrated digital infrastructure within airports, improving government services, and enhancing the tourist experience from the moment they arrive. Plus, it opens new doors for digital innovation, contributing to supporting the national economy and fostering sustainable tourism growth.
