BlueFive Capital, an asset management firm, announced it has acquired a controlling 70% stake in UAE-based Gulf Cobla LLC. Gulf Cobla specializes in dredging and land reclamation, and this move marks BlueFive Capital's entry into the infrastructure and real assets sector. As part of the deal, BlueFive Capital is taking over the entire 49% share previously held by Advanced Dynamics Investments, a subsidiary of Binladin Group. They're also acquiring an additional 21% stake from Dutco Group. After the deal is complete, Dutco Group will still hold a strategic 30% share in Gulf Cobla.
