Ahmed Amir: Logistics is the Lifeline for Every Successful Business

Ahmed Amir, who serves as the Secretary of the Transport, Distribution, Warehousing, Retail, and Domestic Shipping Committee at the Egyptian Traders Union, and is also a leading entrepreneur in logistics technology across the Middle East and North Africa, shared his happiness and pride in joining the Union after two weeks in his new role.

He explained in a Facebook post that this position has given him a fantastic opportunity to meet highly respected and experienced individuals in the logistics and shipping field. He noted that these professionals aren't just focused on their own success; they are genuinely dedicated to serving the Egyptian economy and boosting trade activity throughout the country.

He added that the Egyptian Traders Union operates on a core principle: giving every specialist in their field the chance to contribute their expertise. This collective effort aims to build a stronger economy, improve organization, and provide solid support for traders, industry, and trade within Egypt.
Ahmed Amir emphasized that the logistics and shipping sector has truly become the lifeline for any successful commercial or economic venture. He pointed out that having a select group of Egypt's top traders within the Union, whose shipments account for nearly 150,000 deliveries daily, brings significant responsibility. However, he also sees it as an even bigger opportunity to continuously develop and enhance the entire system.

He highlighted that one of the Union's most important goals is to encourage fair competition among shipping companies, storage providers, and traders. He firmly believes that genuine competition leads to better services, higher quality, and more efficient pricing and systems, ultimately benefiting both the market and consumers in Egypt.
