Nawy Co-founder Abdelazim Othman Named Among Top Marketing Leaders in the Middle East by Forbes

Abdelazim Othman, the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of the Egyptian real estate technology company "Nawy," has been recognized by Forbes as one of the most influential marketing leaders in the Middle East for 2026. This achievement highlights his professional ascent and Nawy's growing role in the PropTech sector.

Othman is one of Nawy's founders, having established the company in 2019, and has served as its CMO since its inception. He has been instrumental in building the company's growth strategy and solidifying its presence in both the Egyptian and regional real estate markets.

Nawy operates in the real estate technology (PropTech) field, offering a comprehensive digital platform that empowers users to buy, sell, invest in, finance, and manage properties through a simplified digital experience. This platform leverages data and modern technologies to improve the efficiency of the real estate market.

By the end of April 2025, the company recorded an impressive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of $4.4 billion, alongside generating over one million potential sales leads. This clearly reflects the significant growth and expansion the platform has achieved recently.

Beyond his role at Nawy, Abdelazim Othman is also the co-founder of "Lynkrs," a company specializing in digital marketing solutions. He is also a prominent entrepreneur within the global Endeavor network and serves on the advisory boards for Meta's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, as well as its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Nawy is recognized as one of Egypt's leading PropTech platforms, providing digital solutions to simplify online property search, comparison, and booking processes. It relies on smart tools that help users filter options based on location, price, property type, and payment plans.

The company was founded with the goal of addressing challenges in the traditional real estate market, such as difficulty accessing accurate data, the multitude of intermediaries, and complex purchasing procedures. Nawy tackles these issues through a platform built on transparency and technology, offering verified and updated property listings.

Nawy has also expanded its services to include digital real estate consultations and enhancing the customer experience throughout the entire buying journey, from initial search to closing the deal.

The company continues to strengthen its position in the Egyptian market with a clear focus on regional expansion. This growth is driven by a business model that harnesses technology to develop and improve the efficiency of the real estate sector.
