He shared these insights during his participation in the fourth session, "AI and Data Analysis," at the Libya Digital Forum 2026. Dr. Abdul Majeed Hussein, in his presentation titled "The Role of AI Algorithms in Detecting Corruption and Waste," explained how AI can bring about a qualitative transformation in anti-corruption efforts, especially in countries facing challenges with weak oversight institutions. He clarified that traditional systems, which rely on paper-based procedures and human intervention, have limitations that make them more susceptible to delays, errors, and personal influences.
