Egyptian Startup Parlex AI Seeks Funding to Power AI Solutions for the Financial Sector

Parlex AI, an Egyptian startup specializing in developing conversational AI solutions for the financial sector, is currently aiming to close a funding round. This funding will support its expansion plans and accelerate the development of its solutions for banks and financial institutions across Egypt and the wider region.

Mohamed Mohsen, the company's Founder and CEO, explained that Parlex AI develops enterprise AI solutions that help banks and financial institutions automate their customer interactions. This is done through AI agents capable of communicating via voice calls and digital messages, performing specific tasks tailored to each institution's needs.

He added that the company's solutions allow institutions to build AI agents quickly, adapting to various use cases within banks and companies. This significantly improves customer experience, boosts operational efficiency, and reduces the time and costs associated with traditional customer service operations.

Built on Extensive Experience

Mohsen clarified that the company was founded based on nearly 19 years of practical experience in technology and operations, including expertise in the FinTech sector. He noted that Parlex AI is focused on transforming this experience into practical, deployable solutions for financial institutions, with a strong emphasis on secure integration with existing operational systems.

He also mentioned that Parlex AI has successfully signed contracts with 6 clients in the last 90 days. Currently, the company is working with about 10 other clients who are in advanced stages, including acceptance testing and quality control (QC Acceptance), in preparation for launching its solutions within their operational environments soon.

Benefiting from the MINT by EGBANK Program

The company's founder emphasized that participating in the MINT by EGBANK program played a crucial role in developing their business model. It helped the team re-prioritize, improve how they present solutions to clients and investors, and formulate a clearer vision for expansion within the financial sector.

He added that the program provided an excellent opportunity to engage with diverse expertise within the entrepreneurship community and connect with investors, entrepreneurs, and FinTech experts. This interaction positively impacted product development, making it even more aligned with the needs of banks and financial institutions.

Funding to Support Growth and Expansion

Mohsen explained that the targeted funding will be allocated to product development, expanding the customer base, and strengthening the company's capacity for growth over the next five years. He affirmed that Parlex AI aims to become one of the leading companies specializing in conversational AI solutions for the financial sector in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Parlex AI was founded in 2025 by Mohamed Mohsen, Founder and CEO, and Ahmed Hammam, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer. The company is headquartered in New Cairo, with plans to expand into Gulf markets through its office in Dubai.

The company specializes in developing Arabic conversational and voice AI solutions specifically designed for banks and financial institutions. It provides AI agents for automating customer services, collection processes, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

Parlex AI is proud to be the first AI company in Egypt to receive the Egyptian Startup Label certificate. It has also joined the global NVIDIA Inception program, which supports startups working in the field of artificial intelligence.
